Is it free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use, with no account needed.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The web app at app.tradiepitch.com runs in any browser, and you can add it to your home screen for one-tap access. There's also an Android developer build, and an iPhone app is on the way.
Why does Android say the app is unsafe?
It's a developer build that isn't on the Play Store yet, so Android flags it as from an unknown source. Allow installs from your browser in Settings › Security and accept the prompt. If you'd rather not, the web app does exactly the same thing.
Does it work without reception?
The Android app works with no signal at all. The web app needs a connection to open, but once it's open the calculators keep working if you lose reception.
Can I trust the numbers for compliance?
It does the geometry only. Always check your local building rules and engineering before you build.
Metric or imperial?
Metric first — millimetres, metres and m³ — with degrees and grade for angles.
Why the silly themes?
Because a long day deserves a laugh. The maths underneath is identical in every theme.
